Meeka

Hi! My name is Meeka and I’m a German Shepherd/Husky. I am almost 7 years old, but people who meet me think I’m still a pup. They also love to stare at my eyes since my right one is blue and my left one is brown with a blue chunk; apparently this makes me unique or something.

I am a rescue and have been through some rough times, but I love my family more than anything and would do anything for them. I quickly established an amazing bond with my mom when she adopted me, and I like to stick by her side. I get a little nervous around new people sometimes, but I am such a sweetheart once I warm up to you.

I am usually calm, although I get really excited about a few things:

• When mom or dad come home (after any amount of time — I just go crazy because I missed them so much!)
• WALKS!! I love me some walking time, checking out all the new smells and hanging out in nature
• Dog parks! I’m usually really playful for a bit and then I enjoy running around smelling things
• FOOD!! Enough said

Axel

Well hello there! My name is Axel and I’m a German Shepherd mix. I’m also a rescue, but I was taken in pretty young so I don’t have too many worries. I am 6 months old, so mom and dad are teaching me lots of new things; this means lots of treats! I am always trying to play and love meeting new people and doggy friends. In fact, I want to make friends with birds and rabbits and squirrels…..can’t we all get along?!

I love to play fetch and chew on my toys…..they’re so much fun to destroy! I laugh when mom and dad go to the pet store and ask what toys are “tuff” – none are a match for me! Running around in the snow is also fun; I’m so glad we have a backyard! Mom and dad call me a klutz all the time; apparently they think it’s amusing when I flop down out of nowhere and when I’m running around and lose my footing. Being graceful is just so boring.

Bourbon

Hola! My name is Bourbon and I am a cute little orange tabby kitten.

I like to run around and play with my little toys, but I also enjoy snuggle time. In the morning, I like to crawl on mom and dad’s chests and rub on their faces – gotta wake them up somehow! Plus I’ve got to get some attention before they head off to work! Sometimes I may like attention a little too much though…I guess standing on people’s throats isn’t always comfortable??

Meeka and I play together a lot. I’m warming up to Axel, but sometimes he scares me.

I’m a pretty good kitten, but sometimes I have to be a little mischievous and knock things over, climb on things I probably shouldn’t, and snatch a snack from mom and dad. You might hear a couple funny stories about me and the adventures I get myself into.
